How to Order Custom Silk Products

Use this four-step guide to prepare a clear brief, compare the most common fabrics and sizes, approve the right sampling route, and move confidently into production. Custom fabrics, dimensions and finishing options are available on request.

START WITH YOUR CREATIVE BRIEF

Share Your Artwork & Project Requirements

Tell us what you are making and how the finished product will be used. A complete brief helps us recommend the correct fabric, print method, construction and sampling route.

ArtworkAI, PDF, PSD, TIFF or high-resolution PNG. Vector artwork is preferred for logos and sharp line work.
Colour referenceProvide Pantone C/U references whenever colour accuracy is important. A physical colour sample can also be reviewed.
Product informationInclude the product type, finished dimensions, intended use, estimated quantity and required delivery date.
Artwork allowanceAllow extra artwork beyond the finished edge for hemming. We will confirm the exact bleed after the construction is selected.
Helpful detail: Tell us whether the design must read correctly on one side, whether a reverse appearance matters, and which colours are essential to your brand.

Choose Your Fabric & Desired Hand Feel

The same artwork can look and feel very different on each base cloth. Choose by drape, sheen, transparency, structure and end use—not by price alone.

100% Silk Twill

Soft with a visible diagonal weave and enough body to hold folds and knots.

  • Best for: premium scarves, neckwear and branded accessories
  • Look: rich colour with a refined, low sheen
  • Feel: smooth, substantial and structured

100% Silk Satin

A smooth, lustrous surface that gives artwork a polished luxury appearance.

  • Best for: fashion scarves, gift sets and beauty accessories
  • Look: glossy face with vivid colour
  • Feel: fluid, sleek and elegant

Silk Crepe de Chine

A softly textured, matte-to-low-sheen silk with an easy, graceful drape.

  • Best for: everyday scarves, apparel panels and soft accessories
  • Look: sophisticated and less reflective
  • Feel: supple with subtle texture

100% Silk Chiffon

Light, sheer and airy, allowing movement and soft transparency.

  • Best for: event scarves, overlays and feminine accessories
  • Look: delicate and translucent
  • Feel: featherlight and flowing

100% Silk Habotai

A lightweight plain weave with a clean surface and smooth hand.

  • Best for: promotional silk scarves and lightweight linings
  • Look: clear print with gentle sheen
  • Feel: soft, light and versatile

حرير جورجيت

A fine crepe texture with more grip and less transparency than chiffon.

  • Best for: soft fashion scarves and draped garments
  • Look: matte with elegant movement
  • Feel: light, textured and resilient

Silk / Cotton Blend

Combines silk's refinement with cotton's natural, slightly firmer character.

  • Best for: lifestyle scarves, wraps and branded textiles
  • Look: softer sheen and natural finish
  • Feel: breathable with moderate structure

Cotton & Alternative Bases

Practical natural or synthetic options for specific budgets, volumes and uses.

  • Best for: bandanas, uniforms, promotions and large programmes
  • Look: varies from matte cotton to satin-like polyester
  • Feel: selected to suit the application

Specification review

We check fabric, dimensions, quantity, printing, edge finish, packaging and delivery requirements.

Artwork & colour approval

We prepare the production layout and confirm Pantone references, scale, placement and important colour expectations.

Proof or physical sample

A digital proof, strike-off or finished sample can be arranged depending on the project and approval needs.

Production & quality check

After approval, the order moves through printing, cutting, hemming, inspection, packing and dispatch.

Print appearanceSingle-sided print, strong show-through, or a double-sided construction where appropriate.
Edge finishingMachine hem, hand-rolled hem, overlock or product-specific construction.
PackagingIndividual polybag, branded sleeve, gift box, barcode label or custom presentation.
TimingSampling and production schedules are confirmed after fabric, quantity and finishing are approved.
Minimum quantity: most custom projects start from approximately 25–50 pieces, depending on the product, fabric, print method and finishing.

Sampling options
• Digital artwork / layout approval — the fastest route before production.
• Printed strike-off — recommended when colour and fabric appearance must be checked.
• Finished product sample — recommended when size, hemming, construction and packaging must be approved together.
Sample cost and lead time depend on the fabric and finishing. Tell us your preference in the requirements field, or ask our team to recommend the most practical route.
